The Darkest Hours is a Dark Alternative variety show showcasing the best of
the Dark Alternative world. The host Jack is combination of a Zackerley,
Elvira, Sigmund, Crypt Keeper type of character. The fiends that live in The
Mansion also join this bizarre show. The Darkest Hours features: music
videos, movie trailers, artists pieces, literature, interviews, undead
performances, and other art forms. All this is stitched together by
commentary, sketches, and In the Noose, our morbid news segment. Think
120 minutes meets talk show meets sketch show meets Halloween.
We strive to showcase the artists that lurk in the darkness. Even with our
ever darkening world and pop culture, for some reason the amazingly
talented artists of the Dark Alternative scene remain hidden. We at The
Darkest Hours hope to change that, and help give these artists a chance at
the recognition that they so richly deserve. A chance to darken the lime light
as it were.
The Darkest Hours takes the scene and culture very seriously. That being
said, the comedy is in no way making fun of our culture , but rather a type of
humor that those in the scene will find funny, in a campy kooky kind of way.
The Darkest Hours is at heart a fan based show and we are dying to hear from
you. I mean after all what is a show with out its horrid masses. We do
appreciate all feedback with it’s good, bad, or meh.
We are an Orange County, California based show and therefore focused on
the local dark culture. But we do strive to feature dark talent from all over
our wicked globe. After all we are on the world wide web as well as local
cable. Hell who knows, but with your support we may even make it to a
network and truly show this wicked world how amazing the Dark Alternative
